How You Can Help Get A Ship Added To The VA List of Agent Orange Exposure

So often I hear (or read) where someone doesn't understand why the ship that they served on during the Vietnam War, is not listed as having been exposed to Agent Orange. Just because a particular ship has not made it to the list yet, or is listed, but only considered during a certain time frame or location of it's activity, does not mean it will never be. These ships are added by the VA only after Veteran's have filed claims for Service Connected Disabilities that are related to Agent Orange Exposure. Because the VA doesn't have the employee capacity to research all of the ships during their entire time frame of activity in the waters off of Vietnam during that era, they will only research activity addressed in the Veteran's claim.
